This is correct on your assumption. Anybody that was there in person knew
who was the winner. It seemed the Dodges had the upper hand when it came to
grunt power on the straight away.

I seriously think Ward Burton (22) had a great chance to win. Marlin
(40) needed someone to help him draft, but no one was fast enough
and Ward became the victim of another over aggressive monte carlo.
Bill Elliott really didn't deserve his 5th place finish, but he can thank
Dale Earnhardts wreck for it. Dodge's 40 and 22 car should have taken
this race 1 and 2.

Yeah Dodge is showing em how to race. The announcers are consantly saying
how fast the Dodge's are. Unfortunantly Sterling Marlin had a flat, and Ward
Burton is out due to the 18 car wreck. Marlin is still in it, as is Atwood i
think. I'm just hopin Dodge will get back up. I'm going for Marlin. he's
been doin good all day and now he's back, all he has to do is pass the
Earnharts. Good thing is that no one was seriously hurt. Go Dodge.
