Mud makes a nice coating too...especially when you've been playing around
and the headers are nice and hot...sticks to them forever. (Yup, I've got
my custom Terracotta Coated Headers!) ;)

Jet Coat is the one I'm familiar with.

I am interested in this as well. Gotta bite the
bullet soon or Mr. S. Reed's dakota is gonna be
hard to take. ;) BTW, Hugh who made your
headers?

I have a set of headers for my 98 DAK 5.2L V8. I want to get them ceramic
coated (aka jet coated) to improve performance and reduce underhood heat. I
have two estimates (Price is about $240 either way). I need recommendations
on which coating vendor is better. Any input is appreciated. The choice of
vendors is either High Performance Coatings (HPC) or JET-HOT coatings.
Also is it usual to have the Y-pipe coated as well?
Thanks,
Hugh
