i have an 87 dakota 4x4 v6 it has 210,000mi on the original trans when i
shift into reverse and let the clutch out it pops out of gear. i have to hold
it down very hard to keep it in gear, and it will still jump out sometimes. i
have no problems in any other gear, and i dont grind gears. checked the fluid
and it is full, no metal filings. could the trans be on its way out?
