That's a rubber carburetor air cleaner gasket. They've been around for
years. Any standard 5.25" (I think that's the size) carb gasket will fit on
our TB's.

I've got a couple that I use to seal up the airhat to the TB. (Works great
for supercharged applications.)

Subject: DML: TB/Air Hat Gasket

I have noticed some GenIII Dakotas have a throttle body to air hat type
'gasket'.
For example, the pics at:

and
http://lonestar.texas.net/~bernd/Photos/Steve/FB_TopView.jpg
Is this a part rubber and just lies ontop of the throttle body? Or is it
self adhesive? Dealer part I assume? Since I am using a GenIII air hat with
my poboy cold air intake, I think I am going to pick one up, if it is a
dealer type part. I didnt know this actually was a factory part. Is it?
