Kenneth, just to let you know, the Hughes throttle body was just the icing
on the cake for my engine... it's got an Hughes cam, ported heads, ported
intake, blueprinted and bored .030" over, headers, K&N filter, 3" exhaust...

Just so you know that it wasn't just the throttle body that did it for my
truck, but it did help!

Well, I finally installed my Hughes Throttle Body today... :-)

Coming home from the Banana Boat(my cousin's restaurant), upon me came a guy
in a C4 Corvette... he had pulled up beside me on the right(I was in the
fast lane of the 2-lane highway)... He decide that he wanted in my lane and
proceeded to downshift and accelerate... I decided to finally see what my
new motor could do...he he he... I floored it, it downshifted and the engine
screamed to life... I stayed side-by-side with him from about 55mph up to
around 100mph or so, then he finally started to pull away from me (Damn
aerodynamics!!!) But, he must have been surprised as hell to see a truck
hang with his Vette like that!! My friend who was with me could only say on
thing..."Shit. This truck is fast."

I'm going to have to design a "Superbird" nose for my dak now, so that I can
better hang with Vette's at high speeds... Anyone want to help???

Later,
Tom "Slick"
