I ended up doing what Hi-lift suggested you do, and got a new
front bumper. I know that isn't a option for everyone (and
wasn't for me until I rear-ended someone--kind of forced the
issue). Awhile back I was scheming at adding some thing like
this:

I don't know if Superwinch actually makes an application for the
Dak, but I have seen a Durango with a reciever sticking out the
lower valence (in front of the radiator), so I know somebody has
to make it. This would give you a sturdy jack point as it is
mounted directly to the frame, between the horns. Sorry I don't
have any more specific information, but the idea is a good one.
