For those (Tim) who want to figure out all the cam specs for their cam...and
all you have is the basic Lift and Duration Specs (Overlap would be good for
this):
Given Duration and Overlap:
INT Open (BTDC) = Overlap/2
INT Open @ .050" (BTDC) = INT Open (BTDC) - Intake Ramp Degrees
INT Close (ABDC) = Intake Duration - 180 - Overlap/2
INT Close @ .050" (ABDC) = Intake Close (ABDC) = Intake Ramp Degrees
EXH Open (BBDC) = Exhaust Duration - 180 - Overlap/2
EXH Open @ .050" (BBDC) = EXH Open (BBDC) - Exhaust Ramp Degrees
EXH Close (ATDC) = Overlap/2
EXH Close @ .050" (ATDC) = EXH Close (ATDC) - Exhaust Ramp Degrees
Overlap = (INT Duration/2 - Lpbe Seperation) + (EXH Duration/2 - Lobe
Seperation)
Intake Ramp Degrees = (INT Duration - INT Duration @ .050" lift)/2
Exhaust Ramp Degrees = (EXH Duration - EXH Duration @ .050" lift)/2
