Don't feel bad. I've been working on cars for over 20 years and while
changing the plug wires, distributor cap and rotor (wire for wire) I was
interrupted by the kids. Since I wasn't sure where I left of, I referred
to the handy Haynes manual. The results where similar to yours. The
Haynes manual is incorrect. It's shifted one wire to the left in all of
its pictures.
