A 4x4 Dakota uses a CAD (Central Axle Disconnect) system. There are no hubs.

Subject: DML: Locking Hubs

I was wondering if anyone was using locking hubs on the front axle of
their Dak? I have been considering them but I think there would be some
gains and disadvantages to them. Gas mileage, front end 4X4 components
would be saved constant wear and tire wear reduced. The disadvantages
that I could think of is that I do not think it good to leave CV joints
to sit for long periods of time, freezing unlocked in the winter,
getting out in a mud hole to lock ( done this, not my driving or my
truck, but was picking my non functioning motorbike from the trail after
a long walk), not being instantly ready to check out a new trail and I
do not think the hubs will fit with my stock rims. Thanks for any info.
