Don't screw them down tight before you pull tape covering off, otherwise
you'll snap the covering and it's the biggest PITA to get it started again
without taking the whole flare off. Once you get the covering off, then
screw it down tight, then push against the flare to the fender to make sure
the tape is sticking and recheck the screws. When tightening the screws go
from the middle of the flare outward to both ends.

Subject: DML: Fender Flares??
I just have a quick question for the dakota pros. Are there any quick
tips you guys can give me for installing the flares? I read the directions
and it didn't make much sense to screw the flares down before you pull the
double stick tape strip. I'm just looking for any good things to do that the
directions may not mention and any little tricks for a quality install.
Thanx.
