Crit, isn't Jeff Black already pushing 280RWHP with a 8PSI KB unit?

Yeah, I went out and picked up the Sport Truck in question, just to have it
handy when I go blown. The numbers are about what one should expect.
Atmospheric pressure is just shy of 15 psi so, ignoring the temp. rise to
make the math easier, adding 6 psi on top of that should move 40% more air,
netting 329 hp at the flywheel. Seeing as the air's hotter behind a roots
blower and less dense, 325 sounds right on the money (probably a bit
optimistic). If you put it to 8 or 9 psi, you'd be looking at 55-60% more
power. As far as tachs go, all 2001 Daks have 7k rpm gauges, I believe.
Also, I think the speed limiters being set at 97 or 115 is a function of
drivetrain, with the 5-spds getting the 115 limiter. That said, I'm sure
there's a 2001 with a 6k tach, 2000 with a 7k tach, or an auto that'll do
115. If so, let me know, I've been wondering about these things.

BTW, did anyone else hate Kenne Belle's rims on that truck?

I just red the new Sport Truck and they did a report on a 2000 Quad Cap 4.7
with a Kenne Bell Supercharger on it. They claim 85 RWHP gain and a 1/4 mile
time of 14.4 @94 in a 4500 lbs 4 door truck with 285/55R18 tires and a 3/4
drop. A supercharger is the only mod to the engine and it does have a split
rear exhaust. They call it the QUAD CAMMER. CRANK numbers are 325 HP and
411lb-ft TQ and 268 HP at the rear. I also noticed that the 2000 Quad has a
7k tach I have a 2000 CC 4.7 and I got a 6K tach why the differance. Is it
5-speed vs Auto or is the Quad the only one with the 7K tach.
