I installed Pioneer components in mine. The sound is awesome. I put the
tweeters right up where the factory tweeters would go. (There was a
circular mark on the inside of the door panel that I used a hole saw and cut
it out. The adjustable recessed tweeters look the best compared to surface
mount ones.

One word of caution for anyone reading... When taking off the door panels,
roll the windows down and only do one door at a time. Also make sure that
you hook up the door latch. If you forget, the door will not open from the
outside (or is it inside?). With the window rolled down, you will be able
to at least get the door open.
