Ticking noise from cruise control

Guys (and Gals)

I noticed a ticking noise coming from under the hood that happens then I
press the coast put on the cruise control. At first I thought it might be
there all the time but only discernable when the motor noise was less when
coasting. After several test it turns out it only happens when I press the
coast button.

This is a new noise that started at about 20K. I have relocated the cruise
control for the Ztube intake but I did that months ago.

Any ideas?
