Sorry to once again drag this out, but going through the archives on this is
a needle-in-haystack exercise. :-)

I want to put synthetic in my differential before I tow all my junk halfway
across the country. Do we have a consensus on recommended oils for the open
differential?

Also, any other changes I should consider in preparation for serious towing?
