I recently changed the stock spark plugs in my '00 4.7L to Bosch
platinum + 4's(#4418). First of all I was surprised that it came with
Champions from the factory(the worst plug on the market). With 15K
highway miles my original plugs were almost shot!! In anycase, with the
new Bosch plugs my gas mileage has increased, I have smoother power and
I don't get that misfire at idle anymore(the dealer told me they all
misfire!, they should junk the Champions).
