Stalling; New Truck Update

Well after two days of looking, testing, and driving my truck, the garage
called me and told me the truck finally stalled out on them. This made me
happy that it finally acted up for them. The mechanic also told me that the
truck will not go from open loop to closed loop, and that it basically is
staying in open loop all the time. I guess this would account for the rich
condition I found on the spark plugs the last time I changed them. Maybe?
Yes? No? Open loop is the initial start up mode when the sensors really dont
matter, right? He said the 02 sensor is fine also, spark is great(MSD!), and
fuel pressure is great at idle and also during various driving conditions.
The computer also is not storing any fault codes. He suggested possibly the
computer is bad or there is a bad wire and/or ground somewhere. The mechanic
is going to keep the truck at the garage this weekend and continue looking
at it on Monday. Oh well.
