Hey, Josh,
KEEEEEEEEEERIIIIIIIIST! I can't believe anyone lived thru that one! That
poor DAK- RIP! Hope it served the owner well while it was driveable, because
it sure as hell saved him from going to the big Ram's head in the sky!
Unbelieveable.....

Hey, Chuong, You sure you want a rice-burner-road-rocket? Let me tell ya,
getting road rash cleaned out by a varmint of a nurse with a toothbrush
WITHOUT NOVOCAINE is no fun. Got knocked off my ole CB500T in '82 by an
idiot who hit me at about 65 - FROM THE REAR - as I was slowing for a stop
light. Went right thru me. He was sober & claimed he didn't see my brake
light. My brake light?!??!? What about the Redlight?!??!! Thankfully, no one
was coming into the intersection from eother side, or I probably wouldn't be
here to type this.
Broke a finger, dislocated my right shoulder, lost a silver dollar-sized
piece of my left knee ( landing point) & lost most of the skin off the back
off my hands and my ass from tumbling about 200 feet down the pavement.
Burned the elbows out of my leather jacket & cracked my Bell helmet in half.
Still have lingering neck problems. The CB ended up off the road in the nice
soft grass, but it was totally mahtzoed! If you truly insist on feeling the
freedom of a two-wheeler, remember that you are "INVISIBLE"! Most of the
senior citizen bonehead drivers (I use the term driver loosely...) with
4-wheels will act like you are & most off them have no concept on how long
it takes to slow a bike - even at the speed limit. I loved mine & I've toyed
with the idea of getting myself a Sportster, but I still have a hard time
looking at a toothbrush!

DAK content: Found the brass cap & rotor at NAPA, & sure enuff, they're mfrd
by Echlin. $15.10 for both. I gotta clean my garage. I've got more DAKSY
mods in my kitchen than are in the DAKSY! LOL !!
