I don't see the tape stick on method for a hood scoop
lasting long unless you help out by putting holes in
your hood so the air can go somewhere. I'd be
concerned about the tape not holding up to the weather
very long.
Also is this really thin tape or is it padded at all?
I would imagine its padded to better mate the scoop
surface to the hood. If that's the case how does the
color of the tape match the scoop or your
hood....because you will see the tape. You may need
to paint the tape unless you like seeing a white
outline around the base of your scoops.
I'd just buy a hood with a scoop built in. IMHO
You'll like it much better.
