I was thinking of just attaching something to the bottom of the grill so I
could pull it instead. Haven't looked real close

I've been thinking of going the cheap rain gutter route but was
wondering what to do about the hood release (won't be able to
access it after installing the grill). I did see where somebody
welded a rod that ran down to the bottom of the grill. But, I was
wondering if it was OK to just hacksaw off the catch (and never
pop the hood from inside while moving) ???
