Actually, the latest is that LA will be outsourcing a new coal-fired plant in UT and selling the power to the rest of CA.
Like I said before, next time a referendum for building a CA power plant comes up, vote sanity. A lot of those Californians love to hug their trees as long as they can get back to the cranked A/C at the end of the hike and know that the pollution from
generating the power is in another state...well, that's gonna cost ya! ;-)
