Hey Russ!

Sounds like a kidney jarring experience!

The hood is mounted using four bolts through slots in the hinges (2 per
side). You can simply open the hood and look to see how much they adjusted
by looking at the circles in the paint from the torque-down. Loosen the
bolts and slide as needed.

Hopefully that's all it is!

     I recently had a rough experience during my last trip to Glamis sand
dunes. Without getting into the painful details, let's just say I will
never subject my Dak to that kind of abuse again. Anyways, the gap between
the hood and front fenders is about twice what it originally was. Anybody
have any ideas how to correct this.
