I would, at the minimum.

When changes are made to certain items/systems on the Dakota,
the Minimum Voltage Reset for any of these is supposed to done
but it requires the DRB III or an equivalent scanner to do them.
The TPS is one of these.

I have not seen any posts that have said that anyone has had problems
by NOT doing this reset. I can only guess that the replacement
TPS, from whoever is the manufacturer/store, was within close enough
specs that it did not upset the PCM. I do know that if the replacement
minimum voltage for a TPS falls out of whatever range that it can
cause problems since the computer is dependent on the TPS
for so many things. Once the PCM stores this new minimum
voltage, it uses it to automatically optimize engine operations. HTH.
