The engine definitely winds up faster without all that extra drag on it,
and on cold mornings I actually have power, instead of the fan roar.
Anytime the a/c compressor is running, the fan runs. Which is a little
odd when I have the defroster on early in the morning, as it'll kick on
and off every few seconds.
