Ok, here's an idea I'd like to throw out there.
If there are enough people interested, I have been considering setting up
a "dakota-audio" mailing list, for stuff that is specifically related to
audio stuff in Dakotas/Durangos. Anybody out there that would be interested
in such a list?
Also, while I'm posting.. I have a 2000 Dakota CC with the upgraded
Infinity system. I'm curious where the factory amp is. A lot of people
said that each speaker had its own amp, which seemed half-way logical.
However, the other day, I had a leak and took apart the front passenger's
side. Sure enough, behind the kick panel, there is a device that looks
like an amp. Anybody know for sure if it is? I'd like to get rid of it
if it is, since that spot would make a great place to mount a replacement.
