Don't think so. I've had mine happen in 80º weather after shutting it off
and then starting it up an hour or less later.

The silicone fluid in the clutch thickens up when it gets cold, keeping
it engaged. Notice that the roar doesn't happen in warm weather, or
once the engine is warmed up a bit.
