Viscous Fan Engagement

If you really want to prove to yourself how these fans work, get home in the
evening. Give your truck at least three hours to cool off. Go out and
start it up. Chances are your clutch fan will engage and make a nice roar.
Now let your engine run for about thirty seconds. The fan should shut down.
Turn your truck off. Don't let it continue to run or you'll be faced with
the same problem again. Go in the house and go to bed. When you wake up
the next morning, go out and start your truck. Unless something's wrong
with your fan or the switch, it will NOT come on.
