Well, I've been driving around just about all day, and I'm very impressed
with the difference from stock form. With Akimoto Intake, F&B 48mm Billet
TB, Jet-II chip, RobertShaw 180 thermostat, and Gibson dual outlet, my Dak
is finally starting to run like a champ. I was amazed at how easy the
thermostat was to do. I thought it might have been a project, being tucked
behind the alternator, but it was easy to do. The old gasket came off easy.
It seems now that the PCM has adjusted(relearned, whatever you want to call
it), that it's fully taken advantage of the mods. now, if only I could
figure out what to do next. Headers I think would be a good thing at this
point. Oh yea, a little personal testimony, the Jet chip is awesome for the
V6. So, it's down to this. Either get a GSX-R 600, or a blower for the
truck. Now, those of you that met me at the VA meet realize that I'm not
handy with a wrench. So, I'm thinking the blower might be a little out of my
league. I'm not new to bikes, so I'm not worried about riding a bike either.
Decisions, decisions....any suggestions???
