I got back yesterday from a breif trip to Moab, Utah. I wanted to see how my
Dakota would hold up nearly stock. She prefored beautifully. And I now more
then ever love my truck. Only mods on her are dual exhaust, and better 31"
tires.
I went on only two trails, Klondike Bluffs, and Gemini Bridges. All without
incident, except for one obstacle where my bumper hit the slick rock. It
actually hit one of my exhaust pipes, and pushed it up into my body. But if
I would have paid a little more attention to my placment it would not have
happened. As I saw 3 other jeeps hit the rock I'm not as disappointed
anymore.
She held up very well. I was very impressed about how well she can handle
rocks climbing, and mudding. I have a gratly renewed trust in my truck after
my trip. Treated her to premium for the return trip (at my Dads expense) as
a reward.
