That pitcher happened to be Randy Johnson. The bird couldn't have picked a
worse baseball to get in front of. Except for maybe Dave (Parker or
Winfield I don't remember which)'s homerun hit that nailed a bird about
15years ago.

I'm against cruelty to animals. But it was pretty cool how it just exploded
into feathers.

    On the sports news this morning. Watch it if you get a chance...... A

dove flew between the pitcher and the batter at Spring Training yesterday.
It
was dead centered by a 95 mph fast ball. Needless to say the poor bird did
not survive the encounter. Bird landed 10 feet behind the the plate. What
are
