Jay,
Easiest thing I found was to use a big bolt. I found the closest head size,
did a very mild filing, and it fit perfectly. Then I just cracked the plug
loose with a pair of vise-grips clamped on the threads. Worked great! Best
part was it didn't cost a dime. I already had some large bolts.

Subject: DML: 97 NV-3500 maintenance.

Sun was out, put on the 31x10.5's, changed to Mobil 1 and a new Wix filter.
Now can someone explain to me what kind of tool to use to remove the filler
and drain bolts in this transmission, as I don't have an allen (sp?) wrench
that big to fit those plugs. If there is a special tool could someone let
me know what it is called and I will go buy one.

Thanks again for your help,
Jay
