Dester, I had it installed it correctly, per Hellwig's instructions. If you
have stock leaf springs in the rear of your truck, it would work great, but
I have the Hotchkis springs on my truck and it WON'T work with them. I had
to pay a little more than $200 for the kit. JCWhitney does not have any
left, Sport truck direct does not have any left, and I've got the only one
Godfather Customs had left. The kit did not come with any compressor, just
remote-fill valves that you can mount in a position where you can fill them
easily. I have a compressor that I keep with me in the truck, so I was just
going to use that to fill them up.Unfortunately they won't work for my
application. I love the design, the brackets wroked great,and no drilling
required,entirely bolt-on. Very well-designed kit and it would be great for
somebody looking for one for a Dakota that is stock-height in the rear. Let
me know if you have any more questions, while I still have the kit in my
room!

Did you bolt the upper bracket piece in the correct position? (I haven't
installed one, but I'm looking into it)
Also, how much was this "clearance" item? I might give it a try.
AND.... does it come with a compressor, or do you have to stop at a gas
station and pump air into a remote filler tube or something?

one another, and that supporting the weight of the truck, and you will know
what mine looked like yesterday when I let the jack down!
