Yeah, I did the herculiner. I did it over the rails too. Looks pretty
good. Stuff stinks real bad, and sticks to
everything! It took me a total of about 5 hours to do it all. This
included extra prep time, and cleaning off the
rust spots from the drop in previously installed. I put 2 coats on as
directed.
  It's been on for over a year now. Now my comments-would still do it
again for the money. It still hasnt
chipped or cracked, but it does leave a black mark on your hand if you
lean on the part exposed to the sun. The stuff inside the bed under the
roll-top isnt chalky like that. Supposedly, just washing it down, then
putting on another coat will make it good as new. I can buy a quart at
pep boys for $30, the gallon size is $99.
