it'll run fine, just slightly less power.... when I dyno compared the
autolite plugs I had been running a set of Champions for less than 24hrs..

> Maybe someone tried this already....if so let me know before I destroy the
truck. Went to the parts store in search of Autolite 3923s...Autozone
didn't carry 'em, but they did carry Champions. Asked the guy if he could
cross reference the autolite part number to the champion plugs and sure 'nuf
he could. didn't have Champions to match those available but he did have
AC-Delcos. I went ahead and picked 'em up, AC stands for Allied Champion
(or somethin' like that) they're made right off the same factory line.
Reason for wanting to try the Champions, until recent years Chrysler has
always used Champion plugs. Back when the good 'ole 318 was designed that's
what they used, and designed around. Old 318s prefer the Champions over
anything else, so I kinda would prefer these in my truck (who knows it may
totally choke on 'em). I wanted the 3923 equivalent 'cuz of the wonderful
pinging problem Chrysler stuck this truck with, so anyway, I'll let ya'll
know how the truck does wi!
