Re: how hot does your 4.7 get

His reasoning sounds ok, just the thought behind it seems a little shaky. I
don't think that it would be so much soaking up heat from the pavement, as
much as it might negatively affect airflow under the truck. I have mine
Hotchkissed, but only since mid-january, so I've not gotten a real
impression of how the lowering affected it yet.
I will keep an eye on it though. I may try and run it without the splash
sheld in place behind the front valence to see if that affects it at all. I
take it off to clean it pretty regularly, so I will leave it off once and
let everyody know how it does.HTH,

the reason i was asking everybody is because the other day my temp got to
about 210 in 90 degree weather and i dont remeber it getting that hot last
year in 114 degree weather. but today i asked my bubby who also has a 4.7
dak and he reminded me that i lowered my truck and that would have an affect
on temp due to it also soaking up heat from the streets. made sense to me.
