Might not be junk -- lotsa folks on the list are VERY happy with their
po-boy intakes. Just don't expect a 25 HP bump out of it. Hell, I don't
think I got NEAR that out a K&N GenII. More like 10-13.
The guy is scamming, though, because he's making exaggerated claims AND
because of what he's charging. Ask the folks on the list how much $$ they
spent on their po-boys, but I'll bet that *aside* from the filter, they
didn't spend more'n $20 for ABS pipe and a coupla fittings, hose clamps, and
mebbe some special glue.
I'm not going to put words in Bernd's mouth, but I'm pretty sure he's not
down on the concept of po-boy intakes (which is basically what you
bought) -- he's probably just down on some unethical fart-knocker making
money off of peoples' inexperience, selling something that is substantially
less than what he claims it is.
