The fastest I've ever gone in a road vehicle is 200km/hr (124 +/-MPH) in a
Fiat. Don't remember what model, but I can tell you it was with a woman
driver who picked up me & a couple of buddies on the Autobahn in Germany
when we were hitch-hiking back from a Led Zeppelin concert in the summer of
'73. It was the first time I ever wore a seat belt other than in an
airplane! Jeeeeeeeezzusssssss! Scared the HELL out of the 4 of us, but she
got us back to Darmstadt in record time.
