Tom, I've always used Napa, and probably always will. I work on farm
equipment all the time, and I've always just gone to Napa to get the parts.
Never got a part that I thought was just junk from them. I'd have to
reccomend Napa.

Afternoon everyone! 81 degrees here in Chicagoland! FINALLY good
driving weather!!

My 2wd Silver 89 is showing signs of engine trouble now. I think it is
developing rod knock (crosses fingers it isn't) I hope it is just bad
valve train. Which is where I need some help.

I have been calling around getting prices for replacement valve train
parts... here is what I have found so far...

NAPA:
Rocker Arms: $6 each - Push Rods: $2 each - Lifters Hydro/roller $16
each

Auto Zone: Rockers $11.99 each - Push Rods $11.99 Each - Lifters
hydro/roller $12.97

Murrays Discount Parts:
Rockers: Left $1023 - Right $10.99 - Push Rods $6.03 each - and they
don't sell lifters for some weird reason

And pep boys doesn't have any of these parts...

I don't know who has the better quality part!? Any input you can offer
is really appreciated. I have to make this engine last... I cant
afford two engine replacements...

Also - what about the intake manifold gasket kit, and a 180°
Thermostat? Prices? Brands?

As always - thanks!

P.S - I will be updating my personal web site soon - and
SaveChrysler.com will have changed uploaded within the next couple of
weeks!
