I would reccomend the KYB Gas Adjust. They did great on my truck before I
went for all out race with it. They are firm for nice handling, but not so
firm that your teeth chatter when going over bumps. After those I would say
the Bilsteins. They are supposed to be really good also. I haven't had them
on my Dakota, but I had them on my 96 Integra and they did fine. HTH
