The positive feed for this guy should be a white/tan wire. If your truck
came with the tow pkg. that wire should be in the tow harness. Even if it's
not, it is in the third brake light sitting on top of your cab. Ground goes
to G200 ground.

Subject: DML:Brake light wiring for new canopy

Just bought a new canopy (cap or topper), for my truck and it has wiring for
a third brake light
on the top. How do you find the correct wire to splice into? I tried one
and the brake light comes
on when the pedal is pushed but when I turn the signal light on to the left
it flashes along with the
normal signal light, and the same for the other side. How would I go about
finding which wire
would make the canopy brake light, light up just when the brakes are
applied and not flash when
either the right or left signal light is turned on. This is driving me
nuts, as I have spliced into too
many rear brake light wires and the canopy light still flashes when I turn
the signal lights on
(left or right), but if I just push the brake pedal (with no signal lights
on) the canopy brake light
works great. I know it sounds complicated but if anyone could help me I
would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance
Jay
