Hey Andrew!

I second Rich's post. The diff cover fill hole is designed "in vehicle
position" which is of course level ground.

Andrew,
Just park the truck on level ground. Don't try to level the transmission.
The reference is to the vehicle.

The FSM says that the transmission has to be level. I am assuming that,
because the transmission itself sits at a slight angle (down towards the
rear) in
the vehicle that it is not good enough to just park the truck on level
ground??????? Should I jack the back of the vehicle up to level the
transmission? How to tell if the transmission is level? Eyeballing good
enough?

Thanks
Andrew
