Andrew,

    Congrats on your new shifter and I'm glad you're happy with it.

    I was wondering something. Where were the springs you removed? Inside
the housing or outside? I am wondering if my v6 shifter has the same
set-up, but doubt it considering there was nothing in the directions and
there were no visible springs on the outside of the housing.

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
