Will, I think that Kyle Kozubal was toying with the idea of a diesel swap in
his 93 4x4. He had suggested that Cummins made a 3.9L I4 that was of the
same design as the larger B5.9 I6 engines. It is made for forklifts/
agricultural applications. I personally would love to try this! I think that
there should be a diesel option for Dakotas. If you're willing to put up the
funds, I bet Bernd would take it on! How about it??
Oh, why do you refer to the Cummins as the come-apart? I've never heard
anything of that nature about the Cummins engines. Do tell if you have more
info!
