o.k truck is making a clicking sound from right side of engine (when
cold), took it to the dealer and he say's yup, it's making noise sounds like
exhaust manifold.
the dilemma: the truck is 20 days old (to me) ,1998 certified pre-owned
with 30day complete warranty on whole truck, and I purchased an extended
powertrain warranty also!
the used car manager will not fix the truck, he says to wait till the 30
days is up and claim it under my extended warranty, my question is why??
either way their is no cost to me! but why wait for it to get worse?
and is the exhaust manifold covered under the basic (plan 918) powertrain
warranty? or what if it's lifter's? etc....
I'm driving a truck that makes a sound like a playing card in a wheels
spokes!
p.s, do I get a rental rebate or loaner car with this warranty?
