does the clicking sound go away after the truck warms up? or does it quiet
down after it warms up? It it does, it's most likely a exhaust warranty
problem (how many miles on the truck?)

if it's constant as in does it all the time, you could be looking at a bad
lifter or something else that's loose. That'd be a problem.

The reason why your dealer wants to have the extended warranty do it is.
1) if they fix it under 30 day warranty, it's out of their pocket.
2) if it's after 30 days, they get PAID by the warranty company to repair it
(make sure there are ZERO deductibles)
3) they're just trying to get their 30 day "warranty" over with and have you
stick it up with dodge.
