Thanks Tim. I have a 1998 Dakota Sport 4x4. I have 46,000 miles on it.
I will let the list know how I make out, the dealer I bought it from is a
pain in the neck.

what year is your DAK? As long as you under the 80,000 miles then get it
replaced. Just go in there confident that the cat is out. If they hassle
then tell them that you know this is a common problem with Dakota's. Trust
me it is. I think they won't hassle you. Good luck, let me know how it
goes.

Thanks for your help. I will have to go to the dealer and explain the
problem.

I don't know but my cat will always be under warranty...It is replaced every
9 months. I haven't hit 10,000 mile on one yet... I think it's 100,000
miles

Does dodge warranty the cat for 100,000 miles?

or is that only 36000?

thanks

So, did they ever look into why your truck keeps takin' out cats? It's
gotta be somethin' like it's running way too rich...good thing the federal
government requires companies to offer a 100,000 mile warranty on those
things huh.
