I would watch out for stray IDIOT drivers that don't know how to use a
blinker when changing lanes than children crossing the street.

At least stay away from residential or school areas and do it on the highway
where the speed limit is 70 or so and children are not likely to be. Racing
can be safe as long as it is not an a bad area and you don't go so fast you
are in danger of loosing control of your veichle. Trucks do best at low
speed
racing anyway due to aerodynamics
