The only chance that there would be ANYONE crossing the street in my area
would be in town, not on the 4-lane, and I always keep it below the limit
when town is busy, and at the limit when it's not. Also traffic is a major
no-no for racing.

It's not worth the chance. Take it to the drag strip. Racing on public
roads not only hazards yourself but the innocent other people on the
road. That is why in most states, if you get caught in an illegal speed
contest you lose your license.
