Well, I picked up my full Hotchkis kit today. I was sitting there eyeing the
sway bars sitting in my garage, and I said screw it, they're going on. Wow!
What a difference. Even with the stock suspension, the sway bars make a
total difference. The DAK is now extremely smooth and square through the
corners. The Hotchkis new rear swaybar makes the old rear bar look like a
coathanger!
Install was failry straight forward. I did run into one problem though. The
passenger side axle mount was cross-threaded from the factory! That's no
good! So, that was HELL to get in and get going. Still not 100% sure what
I'm gonna do. Probably just add a nut to the end of the bolt.
Also, does anyone know about the bottom bolt on the dogbones? It says to
make sure they're tight, but you can still rotate them by hand. The bolt I
have for the bottom dogbone and the nut I have won't lock the nyloc nut all
the way. I can still unscrew it from the bolt. Any ideas?
Thanks again for all your help!
William
