Just curious, has anyone ever tried Pace setter Exhaust Tips with there
performance muffler? I am going to order them for my truck from summit
racing. I have a Gibson exhaust, Single 3" out.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks.

Mike

Josh...definitely. I say this because I have the Flowmaster 50 series single
in dual 2 1/4" out. I also have a v6 and went with euro style dual 3" tips
(I originally had single 2 1/2" tips). The sound change was dramatic.
My thinking, which appears to have been supported, is that by going with
larger tips, it will add more resonance and enhance the sound....of course
you have the 40 series, which is even louder than mine :-)

In closing, the sound ended up being a much lower, deeper sound...which all
us V6ers can appreciate :-). Please note that I did go with Dual tips (14"
long), which I believe is one of the reasons the sound change was so
dramatic.
