Ya know, that leads me to a question...

What's the scoop on these NV242 tranfer cases? Do we need to "exercise"
those every so often like the part-time 4wd models, or do we only need to
stick 'em in 4hi or 4lo when we actually need it? I'm assuming that when the
settings are 4wd, 4hi, 4lo that all the wheels are running all the time
regardless - I've actually gotten the right front to chirp a little when
laying the power on. Anyway, I'm askin' cuz I never can get a straight
answer about this from my dealer (duh).

Any pointers greatly appreciated.
